He Said...
We may have just got out of bed before noon, no wait, it had to be before noon as we just caught breakfast, a proper 5 star hotel breakfast, my first Eggs Benedict with an amazing freshly squeezed juice of pineapple, ginger and Aloe Vera. After a leisurely breakfast we returned to the villa and assumed the position ( horizontal, poolside) and maximised the sun time as it is still Monsoon season and the rain has been falling on a sporadic daily basis.
As the sun began to set behind us ( we are on the East coast) we took a stroll down to the beach and hung by the pool for an hour or two and then headed back to the villa as we had booked a car to take us shopping, to Tesco's of all places so we could take advantage of the full kitchen and have breakfast items as well as circumvent the minibar. We still haven't shaken the Lhasa cough so we also found boots chemist for some heart Robutussin.
We were one after an hour, came back to the hotel and decided to eat in, the resort restaurant is called Rockpool and they serve a dual Mediterranean and Thai menu, which are both delicious, the Lychee Martinis are back in play and things are good.
We were joined late by the GM which called for another round, but we hit the sack by 11 and caught up with Showtimes " HalloScream" films
Say it three times fast...Its a blog with two sides, two opinions, two viewpoints from two people. All centred around a 6 month adventure through India, Nepal, China,Tibet, down through South East Asia to Singapore, then Australia, New Zealand and Fiji before returning to the US on February 5th for an enormous birthday partay in Las Vegas... so its basically the journey to my 40th birthday party if I'm being honest, hope you enjoy it!
